In celebration of 150 years of Liberty, we go behind the scenes of the iconic Tudor building and into the eclectic emporium where our story is retold. As the lights go up and the stage is set, be transported to a world of magic, mystery, and charm!
Divided into four acts, Retold is a vibrant performance of innovative and celebratory designs. This play unfolds in the famous landmark store, crafted from two timber ships, forming the perfect theatre. The stage welcomes Liberty’s cast of influential characters who have paved the way for an array of artistic movements. Dressed to entice and delight its throng of viewers, from musicians and rock legends to models, writers, and actors, Liberty’s customers are our most inspiring muse. Whoever steps through the elaborate façade is taken on an extraordinary journey, captivated by the flamboyance of the Liberty experience. As we move onto the next act, a new generation of designers begin to experiment with the boundaries of technology and art.

Crepe de chine is one of the best silk bases for daytime wear – it’s effortlessly luxe, with a lightweight drape that’s made more durable by its matte, slightly rough surface.
