Classic Mitsi has been reinvented as a large-scale, dynamic silhouette.
Beautiful blossom flowers are given a new lease of life by embracing
hand-crafted textures, combined with digital shadow effects.
Pluvia is Manteco's flagship collection of weather-proof fabrics for trench
coats, blending timeless elegance with modern responsibility. The collection
draws inspiration from historical trench garments, reinterpreting their
textures and construction with contemporary materials and sustainable
innovation.
ABOUT THE CLOTH
This is Pluvia, 100% cotton at 220gsm, which is classic trench weight. At a generous 160cm wide, it goes further.
Pluvia is Latin for rain, and Manteco describe it as weather-proof - the collection is built for trench coats and other outerwear garments where some level of protection from the weather is desired.
Part of the Manteco x Liberty Fabrics collaboration, made to mark Liberty's
150th anniversary, in which Liberty archive prints have been reimagined on
two Italian recycled wools and this premium cotton base. Printed using
Liberty's waterless digital printing technology.
Trench coats, jackets, structured dresses, anything with a shape to hold.
We recommend using a Microtex needle with this fabric.
