If you've completed an "Absolute Beginners" class and are wondering "what next?", here is the class for you.

Be supported to sew a project of your choice in 3 sessions over 5 weeks, in a small group with a maximum of 5 people.

Best suited to beginner-plus sewists who would like to accelerate their skills in an environment with others at the same level of skill and experience, you'll receive individualised guidance specific to your chosen project. Before the workshop, you'll get the opportunity to discuss a suitable project and plan accordingly, so you can make the most of your time in the class.

Due to the nature of this workshop, bookings will close one week prior to the start date, to ensure that participants have the opportunity to discuss and plan their project before attending.

When: Tuesdays 22 September, and 6 and 20 October 2026, 6 pm to 8.30 pm

Where: Weft and Warp Studio

Target Sewing Level: Beginner Plus

You need: pattern of your choice, pre-washed and ironed fabric, suitable thread, sewing machine in good working order, sewing machine manual, all accessories for sewing machine (feet, bobbins, power cord, foot pedal), basic sewing kit, food or snacks

Skills covered: will depend on individual choice of project

Included: 7.5 hours of tuition with a maximum of 5 students in the class, use of equipment and machines in space (large cutting tables, sewing machines, overlockers, irons and ironing boards), tea and coffee, use of kitchen space, discount on items purchased while attending session.
