Welcome Original Digby Patterns and Art Prints!
We first met Lauren Digby at the London Stitch Festival in March 2025 and knew we had to get these patterns to our people.
Lauren was a teenager when she started making her own clothes. Growing up, she quickly found that high street clothing shops did not cater to her small frame and bust, and sadly neither did most sewing patterns. This led to Lauren learning to draft her own clothes and let her completely gain back control over the clothes she could wear. The options were only limited by her imagination!
Lauren did a costume production degree at Rose Bruford College, and quickly entered the world of theatre upon graduating. During the pandemic she was given the opportunity to be a junior costume maker in the workroom of a Netflix film, and as we say, the rest is history...
Alongside working as a costume maker for film and TV (including Wicked and Queen Charlotte), Lauren has continued to draft and make her own clothes, and has now found the time to start a sewing pattern company!
