There are many reasons why you may like to schedule a 1:1 sewing lesson. Whether you are new to sewing or more experienced, we can tailor (pun intended!) a session or series of sessions to suit your individual requirements.
Private lessons start at a two-hour minimum, with options for sessions up to 5 hours in length at a time. Once you have booked your session, we will be in contact to arrange a mutually convenient time and date for your lesson.
Currently, private lessons are available every second Wednesday and every Thursday between 10 am and 4 pm. We may also be able to accommodate evening sessions (2 or 3 hours) on a Monday or Wednesday- please contact us to discuss this option prior to booking.
Weekend private lessons are possible when there is no other workshop or event scheduled.

Target Sewing Level: All
You need: sewing machine in good working order, sewing machine manual, all accessories for sewing machine (feet, bobbins, power cord, foot pedal), basic sewing kit (can be purchased from Weft and Warp), snacks. We have three sewing machines available for use if you don’t have a machine- please let us know if you would like one reserved for you.
Included: use of equipment and machines in space (sewing machines, overlockers, coverstitch, Laurastar ironing system), tea and coffee, use of kitchen space, discount on items purchased while attending session.
