Pin Dish by Peter Nilsson
Glass Art? Definitely
Pin Dish? Completely
Both? Absolutely
We welcome "Pin Dish 2022" by the acclaimed Swedish glass artist Peter Nilsson. A masterpiece of glass art and practicality to give your sewing that little extra.
Peter has created 50 of these dishes in his Canberra workshop. Individually numbered and signed by the artist, these pin dishes are made from recycled television screen glass and feature the iconic flower and strawberries from Liberty of London's "Strawberry Thief". The magnet is a powerful Neodymium disc magnet, ensuring pins are held securely.
48 pin dishes from the collection are available, with one already with Liberty of London and the other held in the Weft and Warp Collection.
Safe Use Warning. This pin dish uses a magnet with a strong magnetic field. Magnets with a strong magnetic field may cause permanent damage to credit cards, computer hard drives, watches, TVs, data storage media and other electronic devices and objects. People with pacemakers should avoid handling magnets (source AMF Magnetics).
DO NOT use the magnet to connect the pin dish to your sewing machine. It may damage computerised machines.
